What to Expect at Adoption Hours

When you arrive, head over to the adoption center. We set up in the kitty area where the cats hangout in the cat cubbies with their food, water, and litter. You can see and meet the cats. If you want some one-on-one time with a cat, then just ask a volunteer.

Adoption Hours

Monday - Friday 1 pm - 5:30 pm
Saturday 11 am - 6 pm
Sunday 12 pm - 5 pm

Monday - adoptions by appointment
Tuesday 7 pm - 8:30pm
Wednesday - Friday adoptions by appointment
Saturday 12 pm - 6 pm
Sunday 12 pm - 5 pm

You’ll want to have a plan in place if you end up bringing your pet home the same day. Have your supplies checklist ready and know the basics of introducing your new pet into a new home (or introducing two cats).

Most of our volunteers are also fosters, so they are knowledgeable about the cats and can work with you to answer any questions.

Hopefully you’ll find your new best friend, and you two will never be separated again (except for by that thing called your day job, ugh).

Once you’ve found “The One”, you’ll fill out an adoption form, pay the adoption fee (cash or card), and you’re set to take your new friend home (make sure to bring or purchase a cat carrier!). We’ll provide you with a folder containing your cats medical history and resources.

The great thing about adopting at PetSmart is well, you’re at PetSmart! If you realized you forgot to get something - like food, litter, treats, or toys — you can pick up them on the spot!

Just some of our adoptable cats ❤

Contact us to find out if a specific cat will be at an event.

A note on COVID-19: With many shelters closed, homeless cats need adoptions now more than ever.

Face coverings are required at all adoption events. Please be mindful of your proximity to others & practice social distancing.
